{this moment} June 12, 2015Encountered a pristine "Pocket Guide" today while working with an NP student. Mine, on the left, has been to multiple countries, through storms of rain and surprise amniotic fluid, has countless notes inside, and more Post Its than should be possible. I refuse to cut the cord and give up the book: it is my second brain in the middle of the night, my quick reference before defending a plan, and I wave it around like the solution to all books when students ask.
