Movie Monday: What Happened, Miss Simone?

If you know me, you know that at least once per week I have Nina Simone playing, loudly, with me singing along. Her voice, and her intention, and passion, all bring me back to center. Looking forward to this documentary. Why is this applicable to the discussions I have in this space? The importance of one person's story, and how it impacts those around them, and all of us. Particularly those whose story becomes art, expression, and something that affects others. And, the legacy of women's voices and stories in our world. That's all, and that's everything.
