Calling all midwives!

As many of you know, and as I have posted before, I am running for Secretary of the ACNM Board of Directors! It's time for me to stop being humble, and start campaigning! A description of my passions and intentions as a candidate for leadership, as well as my audio interview, are available for your reading and listening pleasure! I am incredibly passionate about midwifery and the work we do on a daily level, as well as our broader political and social advocacy. I was honored to be nominated as one of the candidates for Secretary, and will be honored by each and every vote that comes my way. If my work and plans align with your own in midwifery and as care providers, please consider voting for me!To summarize, my intention in running for leadership is to bring forward the work of supporting student-to-graduate transition, utilizing social and new media platforms to mobilize these groups and the people we serve, as well as promoting the work of midwifery care in underserved populations. And, as you will hear in the audio interview, I integrate work of feminism, reproductive justice, international midwifery into everything that I do here on this website and what I plan for my leadership involvement.Voting opens February 9th and closes March 8th.
