Birth V

When we met in the morning and I asked how she was doing so far, she exclaimed "I'm feeling great!"This labor was taking longer than her last few. My explanations of "every labor is different," helped all the more when I met her partner, and learned this was his first baby. The laboring women then glared at him, and looked at me and laughed.During pushing, the intervals between laughter and patience became shorter. Her epidural was effective, but she was tired and wanted to meet her baby. "Why is this taking so long?" she laughed, and then glared at him again. Her baby was born beautiful and tangled, once around the neck and once around the foot. It took a second to untangle the wiggly, slippery bundle before the mom could get her laughing hands on her.Birth.Per suggestion, I've starting tagging the birth stories with letters to make them more identifiable and searchable. Hope this helps!
